To sign up as an agent, to your profile and tap an orange banner asking you to create an agent profile. If you’re unable to see that orange burner, it means that your profile information is incomplete. Tap on your top right corner to edit your profile information. Once done, upgrade your profile by filling in all the necessary information, this is a one-time activity ensure that all the information is an accurate representation of your business. As you won’t be able to edit this information later.

No, you do not have to pay. Listing on Rentr is for free, you’ll be able to earn as people view the details of your listings and you can track all your earnings in your dashboard and be able to withdraw whatever you have earned at any point. For this reason, you do not need to charge viewing fees. You can only charge a commission at a percentage when a person commits to pay for the house, you don’t have to share commissions or commitment fees with Rentr.

For now, Rentr is primarily focused on rental properties. You can list all types of properties from houses, boarding houses, standalone housings flats, inside shared rooms, shops and office spaces. We are currently only focused on houses that are below K10,000 because our target market is low to middle income earners. We do plan on introducing a separate app where you can list executive to commercial properties for rent, lease or sale including bare land plots.
